The mission of the finance department is to:

  • Develop, implement and maintain financial accounting policies and procedures
  • Ensure all transactions are recorded in compliance with general accepted accounting principles
  • Foster the public trust
  • Protect and optimize the city’s assets through sound investment practices

The finance department is responsible for supporting the administrative activities of the city in an efficient and effective manner.  These activities include accounting, utility billing, borrowing, budgeting, collections, debt management and investment management.

Independent Registered Municipal Advisor Certificate

 The City of Fulshear has retained an independent registered municipal advisor. The City of Fulshear is represented by and will rely on its municipal advisor, RBC Capital Markets, to provide advice on proposals from financial services firms concerning the issuance of municipal securities. The individual with primary responsibility for advising the City of Fulshear on such matters is Robert Henderson. This certificate may be relied upon until September 30, 2017 or otherwise withdrawn by the City of Fulshear.
