Fort Bend County is scheduled to begin the pick up of debris from Hurricane Harvey on Saturday, Sept. 9.  DO NOT BAG ANY DEBRIS. Everything needs to be placed on the curb or the shoulder of the road; they can not come on private property. Refrigerators must be cleaned out and food must be placed in household garbage. FBC will drain freon. Please keep vehicles out of the debris area.

They will not pick up bagged debris. Household garbage needs to be set aside for WCA. Appliances will be picked up, however, don't panic if they are left behind in the initial sweep. Fort Bend County will return to pick up that type of debris with the appropriate equipment.
