Public Works Director
Sharon Valiante started her municipal career with the City of Missouri City from 1990 to 2015. She joined the City of Fulshear in the fall/winter of 2016 as the Community Services Director, implementing the formal steps to develop and build the city’s Public Works and the Development Services Departments. She was also part of the team to initiate and is currently working on the implementation of the City’s Water and Wastewater Regional Master Plan, the Livable Centers Study, and the Major Thoroughfare Plan. Sharon works diligently with her team to make sure that the citizens’ trust is uppermost as the Public Works staff continue to strive to meet the needs of the Fulshear community and the residents they serve.
Sharon is excited about the decision to join the Fulshear team and to continue her career in Public Works. She has provided the building blocks to give the Fulshear community a strong and efficient Public Works Department. She has worked in the Fort Bend County area in Municipal Government for the past 30 years, developing great relationships with TxDOT, Fort Bend County and many HOA communities.
Although Sharon is not a Fulshear resident, she has the “Fulsheartexas” at heart. She does enjoy living in the countryside of Bellville, TX, not uncommonly different than parts of our Fulshear community.
